For the 60th anniversary of China, the Italian opera « Turandot » took place in the Bird’s Nest on the 7th of October. Directed by Zhang Yimou (Raise the Red Lantern, House of Flying Daggers, Hero etc), the show was an adaptation of the classic story of Turandot in Italian with Chinese subtitles. It was a show, like in the movie “Hero”, where colors depicted the mood of the scene. It was a great performance, but it had some acoustic flaws because it was in such a large stadium. Joli Stade en tout cas, mais effectivement, j’avais déjà entendu dire que le son était pas terrible. Mais le spectacle devait être joli à voir j’imagine.
